Dead by Daylight is an upcoming multiplayer (4 vs. 1) horror game where one player takes on the role of the savage killer, while the other four players play as survivors trying to escape the killer and avoid being caught, tortured, and killed. Survivors play in third-person, offering them better situational awareness, whereas the killer plays in first-person, focusing intently on their prey.

Gameplay Overview

The Survivors’ goal in each encounter is to escape the killing ground without being caught by the killer—an objective that sounds easier than it is, especially with the ever-changing environment.

• Deeper and deeper: Each killer and survivor has their own deep progression system, with plenty of unlockables that can be customized to fit your personal strategy. Experience, skills, and understanding of the environment are key to hunting or outwitting the killer.
• Real people, real fear: The procedural levels and genuine human reactions to pure horror create an unpredictable gaming experience. You will never know how each session will turn out.
