Dead by Daylight is an upcoming multiplayer (4 vs. 1) horror game where one player takes on the role of the savage killer, while the other four players play as survivors, trying to escape the killer and avoid being caught, tortured, and killed.

Survivors play in third-person, giving them the advantage of better situational awareness, while the killer plays in first-person, focusing more intently on their prey. The goal for survivors in each encounter is to escape the killing ground without being caught by the killer—an objective that proves to be more challenging than it sounds, especially with the ever-changing environment.

• Survive together… or not – Survivors can choose to cooperate with each other or act selfishly. Your chance of survival will vary depending on whether you work as a team or go solo. Will you be able to outwit the killer and escape their killing ground?
• Where am I? – Each level is procedurally generated, ensuring that you’ll never know what to expect. Random spawn points mean you will never feel safe, as the world and its dangers change every time you play.
• A feast for killers – Dead by Daylight draws inspiration from all corners of the horror genre. As a killer, you can embody anything from a powerful slasher to terrifying paranormal entities. Familiarize yourself with your killing grounds and master each killer’s unique power to hunt, catch, and sacrifice your victims.
• Deeper and deeper – Each killer and survivor has their own deep progression system and numerous unlockables that can be customized to fit your personal strategy. Experience, skills, and understanding of the environment are key to successfully hunting or outwitting the killer.
• Real people, real fear – The procedural levels and genuine human reactions to pure horror create an unpredictable gaming experience. You will never know how each session will unfold. The combination of ambience, music, and chilling environments culminates in a terrifying experience. With enough time, you might even discover what’s lurking in the fog.
