Game Overview

In the eerie Louisiana swamps, savage, nightmarish monsters roam free, and you are part of a group of rugged bounty hunters determined to rid the world of their ghastly presence. Banish these creatures, and you will be generously rewarded with the opportunity to purchase more gruesome and powerful weapons. However, failure means death, stripping you of both character and gear. Your experience, however, remains in your pool of hunters—referred to as your Bloodline—always.

Features

High Risk, High Reward, High Tension

The competitive, match-based gameplay of Hunt combines PvP and PvE elements to create a uniquely tense experience where your life, character, and gear are always on the line. At the beginning of each match, up to five teams of two set out to track their monstrous targets. Once a team has found and defeated one of these creatures, they will receive a bounty and instantly become a target for every other Hunter remaining on the map.

• If you don’t watch your back, you might find a knife in it, with your last memory being another team of Hunters walking away with your prize.
• The higher the risk, the higher the reward—but a single mistake could cost you everything.

Progression

Even in death, you will be able to progress among the ranks of Hunters through your Bloodline. Although one character may die, their experience will be transferred to your Bloodline, where it can be applied to your other Hunters. If you manage to escape the map alive, you can use the money and experience earned to equip new Hunters and prepare for the next match. If you die, you will lose everything except for your accumulated experience.

Dark Sight

Dark Sight allows Hunters to see into the veil between worlds, revealing that which cannot be seen by mortal eyes. Use Dark Sight while tracking monsters, and a ghostly light will guide you toward your next target. Additionally, Dark Sight marks players carrying a bounty, making them more vulnerable to ambush while attempting to escape.
